Dear  Friends;

Greetings and Happy Thanksgiving!

We're on the other side of the international dateline so it's Thanksgiving Day today in Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia. If you are interested in seeing our location please follow the link: http://www.pangolin.co.nz/xtras/yotreps/tracker.php?ident=WZ7LL

We have much to be thankful for this holiday: good health, loving families, and loyal and true friends who support us long distance - or at least tolerate us - in our unusual lifestyle. (Thanks especially to Ken, Audrey, Eleanor and Peter.)

We'll celebrate the holiday today by gathering with our surrogate family, cooking a turkey on the BBQ and sharing food. Our crowd includes transient cruisers, ex-pats, and some former work colleagues of Leslie's from the College of Micronesia. We are a pleasant polyglot including people from the countries of Taiwan, England, Ireland, Russia, Belgium, Australia, Venezuela, and of course, the United States. Here in spirit are friends underway from Korea, Japan and Holland and other friends ship-wrecked on an atoll to our west.

Many of the recipients of this message will be celebrating their holiday tomorrow. We hope everyone enjoys the closeness of family and friends and that your holiday will be warm and memorable.

Your friends of the yacht Carina,

Philip, Leslie and fat cat, Jake
