Supplied by Glenora and Peter Doherty of Wanderlust V, a custom Reliance 44 ketch that they built themselves from a bare hull.   Peter and Glenora have been RE-building her in La Paz (Baja, Mexico)  since she fell from stands in a boatyard during hurricane Marty in September 2003.  Along the way they acquired a stray kitty (now ship's kitty) appropriately named Marty.  They have on occasion considered re-christening the boat, Wanderlust VI.

 

Flour tortillas, 8 inch, pkg. 12

Cream cheese

Fresh jalapeno, red and green if possible, 1-2 each

 

Allow cream cheese to warm up so as to make it easy to spread.  Wash, de-seed and chop jalapeno very fine; mix well with cream cheese.  Lay one flour tortilla on a plate and spread with thin, even layer of cream cheese mixture.  Cover with second tortilla and repeat making a stack of tortillas and cream cheese.  Finish with tortilla on top.  Chill.  Slice in wedges like a pie.  Garnish with one whole jalapeno.  Serve.
